What did last study show; is property price making progress tough?

At the last Johnson City Regional Planning Commission meeting, members of the board said there was an extensive study done around 10 years ago and another study is not needed. Have they looked at that last study? What were the results? Did it suggest this section of real estate would be a good fit for student housing? I think it would be best for everyone if those results were put out again for everyone to see what the vision was for this part of town.The Chamber of Commerce is selling this property for almost three times what they paid for it. The Chamber told us several developers looked at the property and wanted to use part of the existing structure, but couldn’t because of money.Perhaps if the Chamber was selling at a more realistic price those visions could come true.KATHY SERAGOJohnson City
