Sheriff’s deputies said they arrested a man on an aggravated burglary charge early Sunday morning.
Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal said deputies arrested Jeremy Carroen, 19, 125 Country Village Drive, Limestone, after he was identified as being involved in an incident at a home at 312 Kyker Road in Telford.
Deputies arrived at the home at 5:38 a.m., where the victims said they had awakened and found a white man in a dark hoodie in their house. A K9 unit was called to the home and tracked a scent back to Kyker Road.
A short time later, the victims told deputies they found a billfold containing identification and a jacket that did not belong at their residence. Based on the evidence found at the home, a photo lineup was conducted and the victims positively identified Carroen as the person in the home.
Following his arrest, he was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held on $20,000 bond. Graybeal said Carroen also was charged with failure to report.
He’s set for arraignment today in Sessions Court.
