Governor Haslam announces new meth legislation

Tennessee governor Bill Haslam announced new legislation in an effort to reduce methamphetamine production in the state. The legislation would limit the amount of psuedoephedrine medicine people buy within a 30 day period. It would also allow a person to buy 2.4 grams of psuedophedrine a month. Pharmacist would then be given the authority to override the system if deemed necessary to allow a person to buy up to 4.8 grams of medicine containing psuedoephedrine.
