Two Flag Pond men tried walking out of a Johnson City Walmart with more than $600 worth of merchandise Tuesday, resulting in felony shoplifting charges, police said.Ronald D. Alfano, 67, and Ian M. Alfano, 43, both of 4506 Old Asheville Hwy., Flag Pond, were arrested after the incident at the Walmart at 3111 Browns Mill Road in Johnson City. Walmart loss prevention employees detained the men, police said.Each was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000. Sessions Court appearances were set for today.
