Celebrations for Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior were happening across the nation, including right here in the Tri-Cities. Students from ETSU and a local girl and boy scout troop volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee Monday. Volunteers filled boxes with non-perishable items that will go to food panties and charities. The non-profit’s goal for the day was to get all the food they had boxed up.
