Emergency exercise planned for Tri-Cities Regional Airport on Tuesday

The Tri-Cities Regional Airport will conduct an airport emergency exercise Tuesday. The federally-mandated exercise will take place from 9:30am until noon.The exercise is designed to promote emergency preparedness, test the airport’s emergency operation plan, train personnel in emergency management duties and coordinate the efforts of local emergency service agencies responding to an aircraft accident.The airport will remain open and operational during the exercise.Copyright WJHL 2014.
