Johnson City Commission votes to rezone General Mills property

A vote tonight clears the way for a Johnson City landmark to be demolished and replaced with apartments by a 3-2 vote. The city commission approved a request to rezone the so called General Mills property from B-2 to B-3.Evolve Development has a deal to buy the property from the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce to tear down the mill and build the apartments.
