KNOXVILLE — Authorities on Monday identified two men who allegedly fled from police until the vehicle carrying them crashed at the edge of the Holston River.Travis Mack, 22, of Knoxville was at the wheel of the black Nissan Pathfinder that led police on a chase after a report of gunshots in the Parkridge community, according to Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk.Mack is charged with evading arrest, driving on a suspended license and reckless driving. He also was cited on a charge of failure to provide proof of insurance. He was being held Monday in jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.DeBusk said the passenger in the Pathfinder was Jeremy Edwards, 18, of Knoxville. Edwards is charged with a drug free school zone violation, public intoxication, simple possession of drugs, resisting stop and not using a seat belt.
