Krieger is a servant

Tom Krieger, a Republican who lives in Jonesborough, is a candidate for Commissioner, 6th District, Washington County, in the upcoming election. I am pleased to have this opportunity to share “neighborly” comments to the citizens/voters of this county and district.Tom and his wife, Becky, are next-door neighbors to my family and me. They are the type everyone should be blessed to have and appreciate. Krieger’s integrity is unsurpassed. He is a dedicated Christian who demonstrates kindness and caring for others. He is a true gentleman, a well-known businessman, a long-term volunteer in numerous organizations and, indeed, a tireless worker.Without fail, every day Tom brings the morning newspaper from the road to our door and bad weather has never been a factor. He shares his garden space as well as vegetables and other items he feels we might enjoy. He is always energetic, ready and willing to be of assistance to others. Can you, the people, imagine the confidence and joy of having neighbors of this caliber?A few months ago Tom commented that he believes God put all of us on the earth to serve each other, and that he is blessed to be able to serve. Believe me, he does just that. He exhibits the right kind of leadership by being a positive influence on others while serving the community with integrity.I am confident the citizens of Washington County would be well pleased to have Tom Krieger serve as their county commissioner.
