Still no details in Watauga Lake death investigation

BUTLER — An investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol has been triggered by the discovery of a submerged car in Watauga Lake on Monday.Sgt. Bill Miller, public information officer for the Highway Patrol said Tuesday that the agency is investigating the case, but he said no information could be released “until we make family notification and the coroner’s office has completed the autopsy.”Miller said he is hoping to have a preliminary report on the incident “very soon.”Follow John Thompson on Twitter @HolstonUSA.
