Woman charged with using stolen credit card

A 40-year-old woman was arrested Thursday on charges she used a credit card reported stolen at East Tennessee State University.

Tiffani M. Randolph, 1606 Marbleton Road, was charged with forgery, theft under $500 and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Johnson City police said report was filed Nov. 5 with ETSU campus police about a stolen wallet. That same day, the victim’s stolen credit card was use at two separate locations.

Police obtained video surveillance from one of the businesses, aiding in the identification of Randolph as the person who was using the stolen credit card.

She was released from Unicoi County Detention Center on Thursday from unrelated charges and taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where she was held on a $4,000 bond. She was arraigned Friday in Sessions Court.
