Victim trial photo bill deferred until this summer

A bill aimed at providing support for the families of victims in the courtroom is on hold for at least a year. It’s called the victim trial photo bill and it’s the piece of legislation that would change state law and make it mandatory for a victim’s picture to be in the courtroom if they can’t be there in person.The family of Johnia Berry, who was murdered in her Knoxville apartment nearly 10 years ago, supports the bill.
