American Red Cross announces shortage of blood in Tri-Cities

There’s a shortage of blood not only in the Tri-Cities but across the U.S. The recent series of snow storms that swept across the nation caused 1,500 blood drives to be canceled. Now the American Red Cross is down 50,000 units of blood across the U.S. According to the Red Cross, in the Tri-Cities it could take months to get the supply back up to where it needs to be.
