Bullet holes: Shots fired at vehicle on 11-W in Sullivan Co.

KINGSPORT — Two women were allegedly shot at while traveling Highway 11-W in Sullivan County on Tuesday night, telling police the gun was fired by an unknown occupant of another car.Police say what appears to be two bullet holes were observed in the rear of their vehicle, but no rounds were recovered.The incident began at approximately 8:30 p.m. as they traveled from Kingsport to Bristol, according to an incident report at the Sullivan County Sheriff’s office. A vehicle reportedly tailgated them while flashing bright lights on and off.The tailgating vehicle would swing around like it was going to pass, then pull back behind them.
