Johnson City convenience store robbed at gunpoint; 4th in city this week

Johnson City police were seeking public assistance in finding a man who robbed a convenience store early Friday morning at gunpoint.The robbery was reported at the Roadrunner Market at the corner of Princeton Road and East Oakland Avenue about 4:45 a.m. The clerk told police a white man wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie and a white and black bandana over his face, entered the store and showed a gun. He demanded money from the register and then fled.The robbery marked the fourth convenience store robbery in Johnson City this week.Anyone with information about the armed the incident is requested to contact the Johnson City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit at 423-434-6166 or to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 434-6158.
