Takoma Regional Hospital joins statewide initiative to reduce elective deliveries

Takoma Regional Hospital said if moms are going to deliver their babies early at Takoma, there has to be a medical reason. Takoma joined a Tennessee statewide initiative to reduce elective baby deliveries before 39 weeks. Takoma said it’s been doing this for quite some time but only recently joined the initiative.
