Fire warning remains high in Virginia

The Virginia Department of Forestry is issuing a fire watch for the entire state today. Officials advise today’s weather of low humidity, high winds, and low fuel moistures increase the risk of wildfires across Virginia. Increased fire danger may upgrade the watch to a red flag warning… that’s issued when conditions are at it’s highest for wildland fires to start easily and spread fast. Virginia’s 4 p-m burn law is in effect until April 30th.
